I'm going insane trying to figure out the dimensions of my 2.5 cu.ft. angled, ported box.
I want 2.5 cu.ft. internal. If the H is 12.75" and the W is 23", what do TopDepth and BottomDepth have to be??? If it helps, a STRAIGHT box with 12.75"H x 23"W x 14.75"D is 2.50 cu.ft. But I have a TOP and BOTTOM DEPTH. Please help me figure out what the 2 depths need to be.
I think you need to know this also:
>Using 3/4" MDF (Subtract 1.5" off W and H, and subtract .75" off TOP and BOTTOM DEPTH) >Spkr. Displacement is .2 cu.ft. (345.6 cu.in.) >Port Area is 20 sq.in. and 13" in length.
I'm not trying to take the "easy way out" by asking one of you guys to do all the math for me--I've honestly been on this damn computer with a calculator, paper, pen, and shot nerves for about 2 hours trying to get some good dimensions. If you would be so kind as to help me with this, I'll be good to go and can finally order my box.

In the case that you have a top depth and a bottom depth, just find the depth that you would need for a rectangular box - in your case 14.75". Now, whatever top and bottom depth you use have to average to 14.75.. Get it? Like..
