well for a Aper. setup to work you really need to use large spk. like 12's & 15's, becasue there ussually less efficenst than a normal sub becasue of the enclosuer type. If you have any other questions go here http://www.dynamat.com

well I think you have to check with tech on how to build them, why go through the trouble of trying to tune them

The only reason I would use such an inefficent set up, is becuse i have no other way to get a pair of eights under my seats. I would cut a hole in the floor and glass it, but the car sits to low

You do realize to properly put in a pair of a/p mats under your seats you are going to have to cut the floor and so the speakers can "breathe" to the outside. Then on the outside you are going to have to put on some louver type items to keep moisture out of the membranes. It might be easier to cut the floor and make a long flat box to get the required air space, basically have the speaker in an enclosure under the seat, with an opening going to a box mounted under the car in maybe two or three inches deep and as long as need to get the proper airspace. Just a thought.

Ya i did realize taht, but therer is only room for a very very small enclosure. there are some structural braces that run along the bottom that make it impossible to make the box any larger, and i really dont want to cut into the frame

Just a general thought I had, could you extend the box out the back of the seat and basically raise the floor behind the front seats to get the extra airspace needed? Sure you would lose footroom in the backseats but who cares, if you really liked those people in the back seat they would be up front. Just a thought
