How do I reduce the voltage off my 16volt system to around 14.4volts for my line driver. The amps have been modified and run fine up to 18volts.

I tried an inline diode and resistor with now success.

I found out if you run a few diodes inline on the power wire they will reduce the voltage. Easy fix and I found out that the panasonic cd will run around 16 volt anyways ;-)

why dont you just run a seperate power wire for those components that need the lower voltage..like in one of our set ups..we run the amps at 16v and the mid amp..head unit..line driver ..all of the factory stuff
