Is it bad for the speakers to run one in series and two in parallel in a mono system?? I need 3 dual 4 ohm coils to get as close to 1 ohm as possible!

yes, it will not work good.
Just try all of them in parallel. After you put them in the box, you will probably have about a 1ohm impedance anyway.
