What's up guys? Yeah, I'm the geek who put his first and last in the username. Anyway, I am going to build a fouth order bp for my friends '85 Mercedes 190. Possibly to compete in single 12 class. A punch power 12dvc was tested several months ago in AS&S. They found the loudest and cleanest sounding box was a bp4 with both chambers measuring .5cu ft. and 4"X10" port. Due to port clearance (aeroport) my box will have to be a min .6 cu ft. My question is will a regular dvc 12 sound as good even if the woofer specs aren't quite the same? (the qtc, vas, and such are slighty higher.) I expect to hit 135db and hope to have clean sound, too.
