recently I designed a box using bassbox pro 6.0 for 2 15w3d2's tuned to 64hz. upon testing the box we got ton's of output, at 256hz! I then completely redid the design and ended up with the exact same port. Just to be sure it wasn't my fault I entered the old port we had for the enclosure( which played @ 56hz) and the program gave perfect results! then I tried another port tuned @ 70
and got a wrong port size. After around 58hz the program doesnt work with my design. It shows it peaks @ one frequency but actualy peaks at another! And it usually seemed to be about 4 times higher. What am i missing?

I'm familiar with the software, but I don;t understand exactly what you mean.
Are you saying that it gave the wrong port length, or that it said it would peak at one frequency but it peaked somewhere completely different?

How did the box response work? Did it peak near the 64 hz AND at 256? That could have just been some other interaction.

Sounds like this is peaking at two octaves higher than what you want. I have heard that some copy protection in some programs might give you worse and worse port lengths the longer you use it. Maybe you are using a bootleg version of this program? Or maybe I don't want to know LOL.

When you say "testing" do you mean in car or when Bass Box plots it on the graph?

and i am interested to test your desing on my program copy if you post the parameter that you are using.

Does some of Bassbox pro user already desing a sub and compared the real response with RTA ans spl meter and the data calculated by the program? what was the difference between the two curve and SPL ?
