ok lets say a sub has a re of 2.27 does this change at all when you make super huge ports being that theres less resistance on the sub witch makes the amp run more efficient?I assume that more of the subs parameters changes to when thats done right?

Nope. Re is the DC resistance of the voice coil. About the only thing that makes it change is that it will go up when the coil gets hot.

The quantity Re will be the lowest resistance ever presented to your amplifier, its the absolute minimum impedance the driver can have.
