i have two 6.5 woofers mounted in pods in the lower part of my doors. Initially when i did the install there was no bass. I started to think that possibly they were "cancelling" each other out. I'd heard of this but never really experienced it, to this degree. I ran one in phase and the other out of phase and this seemed to remedy the problem. Is there any other way to fix this problem, how do i avoid cancellation. Does cancellation like i experienced in my doors happen with subs as well. Explain to me what cancellation is exactly.

It may have been that by mistake they were wired out of phase by accident, and you put them in phase or that possibly the speaker manufacturer messed up,
