Right after I put a pair of 12w6's & an 800a2 in a sealed encolsure in the back of my 2k Bonneville SSEi my compass stopped working properly. The compass electronics are back there (along with a ton of other stuff). I am wondering if anyone has ever run into a similar problem and if they were able to fix it. Thanks!

umm, as long as you have huge magnets in your car you can forget about a compass working.

That was my theory, however, I want to verify it... And is there any way to find a work around... Perhaps get a magnet field detector and arrange the pair of drivers and a fashion the either negate each other or are far enough away from the compas equipment to be negligable... Thoughts?

Good thoughts, but its probably not going to work. Your voice coils also create magnetic fields that are most likely stronger than the fields of your permanent magnets.

If you are really worried about it, relocate the electronics for the compass toward the front of the car, away from the subwoofers.
