I'm tring to build an active filter for a set of subs. Does anyone have any good links? Does an opamp output enough power to run a small amp? Thanks

Op amps are pretty much exclusively used
in electronic X-overs and EQ's.
For the hobbyist I would recommend the
4558 or 4559 dip IC.
Low noise, easy to work with.
Don't have any links.
ouput power is 500mw max which is more than
enough for line level work.
