Hi,
I am a true fan of Focal drivers and run 5-way Focal system in the car (TN46,
4K3202R, 6K4401R, 6K4402R, 33S) . Each driver except subs is driven by its own
channel of Butler Tube Driver. Bass - Phoenix Gold Outlaw.

My question is: Are the Zobel networks applicable with multichannel
active amplification? I have read the article by John L.Murphy on Zobel networks in passive system
If "yes" then what certain benefits does it provide?

Best regards,

Fred

Yes. The Zobel will still counteract the impedance rise as frequency rises. I think that in your 5 way system, though, all the drivers are probably in tight enough passbands that only the tweeters would benefit.
