I was thinking for fun that when I install my CMP 15's that I wanted to have one sub on either side of the trunk oriented near the wheel wells angled in a bit. I was going to taper the front of their enclosures together and put kind of a giant tapering port going from the trunk area into the seats, not a port but just a really large space that is shaped like a port, i wanted to accent it with round neon lights and stuff like a big tunnel. However I am worried that it will act as a port and not just a space. It will probably be about 2'-2.5' in diameter and will be the only way for air to get from the trunk area into the cab. Will this thing act like a port and cause me trouble or should I be okay?

Well, I would say I wouldn't worry about it too much, if it is a LARGE space.. Kinda like porting a rear deck, it usually doesn't do *too* much to the overall response...
