has anyone on here ever done any internal work on rf symmetrys? it's the epx......not the epx2. i plugged up my amps' rcas, and it had a crackling sound coming from the speakers. it was related to the music, in that it wasn't a constant crackling, only during certain notes. unhooked the amps and ran the rca directly to the amp, and there was no crackling. took the case off of the symmetry last night and looked at the components to see if i could tell if anything was fried by sight, and on the board there was a small grey round(not cylindrical) component that appeared to be toasty looking. the solder on either side of it looked scorched too. it was labeled "d2" on the board. just trying to find out if anyone knows if this is a common problem, or if i should be worried about the rest of the symmetry.
