I was wondering if giveing 800 watt to one of my shocker 15's and 1200 to the other in two seperate bandpass boxes with compression horns would cause cancelation? Would it act like both of them are only getting 800 watts, from the cancelation?

i take it your doing this because you have two completly different amps. i don't know squat about the cacellation, but if it is going to be a problem (i figure it will, but again, i'm a bonehead), you could tone down the gains on the bigger amp. i know your not supposed to use them as a volume control, but i'm pretty sure this is partially what there there for. blend with other system components.

Since they are in seperate chanbers I wouldn't worry about the power difference much. I would be more concerned with different box characteristics if not matched well causing cancellation.

i don't recommend the configuration you suggest. it may work fine but it will probably sound very ugly. my suggestion is to try and sell the old amps and get a new bigger one.
