i bought a eclipse ecd414 of an older customer of my for 75 dollars. the problem was he had lost the cd he had used to get past the ESN. is there any way to reset the ESN in any same or form. by the way this is a legit radio. i removed from his car and istalled a new plus the guy was about 50 or somthing no offense to the older crowd!
please help

the factory and/or eclipse techs have to reset the "key cd"

this way, they check the electronic serial number to make sure it isn't a stolen one.

yeah, if you don't have the original key cd...You'll have to send it back to eclipse. It cost $18 for them to reset it.
