Would I get more power out of 2 1100a2 running at 2 ohms mono or 4 1100a2 running at 4 ohms mono?

I would say 4 running at 4. The 1100a2 does not quite double its power into 2 ohms, so therefore 4 at 4 would be louder.

Agreed. Not only would there be more power present, but the power would be cleaner and the amps less likely to be stressed.
