What do you think works best for sound deadening? Maybe you have certain types that work best for certain areas of the vehicle....maybe you use one thing everywhere.......

Ear plugs work well, but for some reason it is hard to hear the stereo after I dampen my ears...

Lead works well. Modeling clay does good and isn't that expensive (thanks to Matt at ID for that one). I like Cascade products both the spray and mat. Mat works better than spray though.

I heard that fibreglass resin and sand mixed together work well. Cheap but kinda messy (and it don;t work on the roof!!)

I prefer the Cascade VBlok line of products

It's mindless. Mix up a gallon of resin, dump in 20lbs of sand - or however much to make a heavy paste. Spread liberally

Good god! You couldn't go near that car for weeks unless you wanted to feel real light headed. But then resin fumes have been known to enhance installerablity, or so I have heard...

I found that thick felt like sheets work very well, such as the carpet underlay used in cars, but thicker. Though not for outdoor use as it collects moisture. The idea of using weighted rubberlike mats to make the car's body heavier to move may not be as effective on the car's interior, (except the roof), but works very well on the inside door panels where moisture is a factor.

Jank Pro~
Please refrain from making any more posts on this forum. I thought you were somebody else. You have invaded my life enough...please just give it a rest (or a permanent nap for that matter). Leave me to my business and I will leave you to yours. Thank you!
For all other forum members: Please don't ask about this it is a long story that is a very private matter. Thanks!
