Hey guys. Was talking to my Uncle a while ago and he said he owned a TEF which I think he said stands for (Time Energy Frequency). He said that it is a very advanced RTA, he was into installs for super SQ (he did installs on lambos, ferraris, mercedes).. Anyway.. just curious if anyone has heard of a TEF and knows what it is all about??

A TEF is like an RTA that is concious of time. It can give you a 3D indication of what is going on through waterfall plots. Very nice equipment.

Definately a KEWL toy to mess around with! You can make spectral decay plots using one of those... Eli would LOVE to see a spectral decay plot of an amplifier dropped off a tall building....

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...
If he wants to sell it fairly inexpensively, drop me an email. What a fun toy to use

I have TEF20. It is ok for spectrum analysis but I use mine mostly for time-related measurements. I am pretty sure the company is out of business now. (They were owned by Crown at one time.)
We are looking for another here at Rockford so let me know if your uncle wants to get rid of it.
