How many volts ac output equals 1000 watts???
I was thinking it was 72.

Using Power = Voltage^2 / Resistance

I get 63 volts at 4 ohms.

How did you get 72?

My question might be why for my own curiosity. Might you be wanting to run some household appliances with your amp? Like what I seen some rep do with a RF 800. They ran a 10” skill saw and cut a 2X4. All they did was play a 60Hz tone.

So dukk if I am getting 80volts out at a 2 ohm load I am getting 3600 watts or do I need to figure in efficiency. So at 60% i am gettin 2160 watts???

80*80 / 2 = 3600 watts. No efficiency needed. Just make sure that 80 volts is actually there during the hit.
