In order to define a power and find the voltage equivalent to it, you must first specify a current.. For example, at 1000 amps, one volt equals 1000 watts. At 1 amp, it takes 1000 volts to produce 1000 watts.

The equation is Power (Watts) = Voltage * Current (amps)
