I think that in the new rules for 2000 that either pro or consumer that you should
#1- be able too run at least two cars under your name in the show just not in the same class #2- in the stock class build how ever you want as long as the wall stays behind the dor jams and you have front seats and the factory dash, I feel that you should be able too work the doors but that's about it. and then stay in the woofer class for pro and consumer. #3- In the modified class any amout of mods as long as the owner of the vehicle can drive it in forget the 12 inch rule just make it balls to the wall setup. The wall still has to stay behind the door jams the mods can be anything including the winshield.being almost removed with at least 40% visibility. Roof and floor build ups an build downs , should not matter as long as what i said in the start the driver has to be able to drive it into the db lane and the driver must be able to set on the pass side, and if the footwells are not covered all the time don'tcover them at that show, you can tell if you just coverd them
This way there is more trophies and it is fair for the little guy too have a chance at a big event.

Hmmm... just some thoughts... mods allowed in what is called a "stock" class. I don't see that going over too well. Where do you draw lines? That's why stock should stay stock and modifications compete in modified. Is it a factory interior?? Then you're stock. Is that a mod I see??? You are modified. Very simple. The Griz has spoken.

You say you don't see that mods in the stock form maybe will never be allowed, what happens to the little guy that wants a wall but keeps his front of his/her vehicle just like the factory built it , that is where i draw the line , just like henry's little car that he competed with , you know the one 15" that hit in the mid 50'sor dougs boy with two tens that hit in the mid 50's . not everybody has the money to get the power that those guys have, so they would feel a wall would probaly do better. so give them a chance .Awall standing up or laying down what is the difference , I will tell you diference .MONEY And A consumer and a pro will tell you that it should be up to the one putting up the money and who is building the project if a wall goes up or not , they may have the money to build the wall but not the glass, cabin ,losing the seats , floor / roof build ups an downs.they may even have to be able to drive the car. So let them stay in stock as long as the front is stock. To the factory specs.
