Hey tech, dunno if you remember, but a while ago, I was interested in sitching like headlights from a basic stamp 5vlevel. Same thing now, just no more basic stamps, SX/pic chips now. So, Here's my question if you could draw me up a quick little schemantic That would be awsome. I got the general Idea, but something solid from you would be better.
- ok- I need to get 5v logic to fully turn on a Mosfet(IRFZ44)- so I gotta like have the 5v turn on a small transistor to put 12v throught to the gate of the mosfet, right? but is that it? Do I need like a pull up/down resistor on the gate of the mosfet for when transistor is off?

Ok- I was just reading some stuff on mosfets. All I would need is a pulldown resistor on the gate of the mosfet, and a resistor between 5v. and base of the NPN transistor, Correct?
