One of my friends put a playstation in his car hooked to his CVA-1000 a while back.. I cant remember specifics, but I think he just powered it with an inverter. The hard part was getting sound through his.. I think he had to go buy some kind of extra part to get that working.. It actually was a pain in the @$$ from what he said..

Sony sells a inverter for hooking the playsation up to a system, but will only work for sony products.

Sounds like this one has been covered. An inverter is the easiest way to power the playstation. I would be different but that's me. The remote control controlers aren't bad. And the monitor should have a ntsc video input jack. I know the playstation has a video jack.
