Can someone please recommend a good but not so expensive Amp clamp, and a multimeter.
I want to start measuring my watts, impedance rise etc. to help adjust my system to its fullest and gain spl....Thanks

no, that's not good enough. You need something that measures "True-RMS".
It's also nice to have a clamp that reads AC and DC amperage, that way you can do efficiency testing as well

i found a decent clamp from Extech, but never bought it because i'm a broke fool. i can't remember the model though.

i just got my clamp-on meter in the mail and ive already tested it!! Its a mastech ms2138r true rms with min/max hold function and reads up to 1000amp ac/dc and has test leads for ac/dc voltage. paid 89 on ebey and retail is 170 us. i thought it was a steal. and they use a fluke to calibrate.
