I have a little bit of alternator noise in my front component set. The deck i have is a
JVC KD-SX949, i have Earthquake signal cables going to a Earthquake T250 amp. The amp is grounded with my other amps through a distribution block. I tried a ground loop isolator, but that took out all of my bass and mids. What is the best way to take it out? I heard that if i run a 20 ga wire from my amp ground to my head unit ground then that would take it away. Does that work? Also , my power cable is 4 ga, so i ran some black 4 ga from my negative battery post and screwed it to the chassis, because i thought the factory 6 ga ground wasnt big enough. Was that alright, or could that have caused it?
