Anyone here know how to measure the t/s parameters of a sub? Is there any how to or standard model to go by?

Tools needed, that kind of stuff? Thanks

Ideally, you would test it on a Klippel. But they aren't exactly hanging around in everyone's basement at home...

This will give you pretty accurate measurements. Once you get one, test your subs against eachother. not every sub is built the same. Better built subs will give you closer grouping.

Baldman, I just got mines, I'm testing an 18" D1.4 sub. I'm trying to figure out the V(as). here is the data I entered.

V(B)=10 cu.ft (test box method)
V(as)= 0.4282 cu.ft

Message: The test box is larger than recommended for this driver as the F(s)was increased by less than 50%, Try using a smaller test box.

I changed the test box all the way down to 1 cube and still got the same message!

Since I'm new at this software, maybe you can give me some guidance here to what I'm doing wrong.
