SO my monoblock MTX 1501d amplifier smoked from seemed to be normal use after being hooked up for three years.
I sent MTX an e-mail to get part descriptions of the visible parts that smoked and fried - they gave me them but i do not know how to obtain the parts... i think the parts are outdated and no longer able to be purchaced in small quantities. Here are the parts - anyhelp on where i can get parts that will work would be great!!!!

MTX said "I am sorry i do not know enough about this to recommend substitute parts " - does anyone know / can you recommend subsitute parts?

Honestly send the thing in to get fixed or pick up a new one.. Chasing down fets or repl. equivalents one at a time will have you tear your hair out and THEN send it in anyway.

I spent my morning trying to find some discontinued mosfet's for a few of my old amps earlier today. 5 bucks later, I've got upgraded components on their way, and 10 times as many of them as I need.
When I want parts, I usually order them for Centerpointe Electronics or DIGI-KEY. Between those two, I've always been able to find what I need.
Components Plus usually has some of the harder parts to find, but they only deal with commercial/industrial,,,and will not do orders under $250

Parts came in. Hopefully tonight I'll have time to solder them in.

I had the parts 3days after ordering. Not bad, I've had to wait over a week with other companies. And for those times when I have to have an exact match and the parts must come from a Chinese distributor, oh boy does that suck. Sometimes you have to upgrade. Other times, you gotta stick with Special grade components when Standard grade ain't legal
