Hello all,
I have found photo of some "strange" box.
Here are photos, I asume that this is Bandpass 6th order serial port.

Now I have some questions about it.
for what is that box good
how could I calculate one for me

that's not a very good design right there, and i've seen it before in other forums.

if you would plate off the front area and tune it also, it could be a "decent" design

maybe right....

but as big as the "ported" chamber is, having it that close to the hatch might be what gives it its tuning in that particular vehicle.

i have never seen anything like that... it looks like the front opening is so big its un - needed.. even though the actual port is small would it not sound the same if you where to get ris of that big -port or opening?-

front chamber tuning would be in relation to the vehicle walls

It's not really a horn...not anything that would/could load into the midbass/bass range.

There is no area progession in what is supposed to be the throat.

try this, there is a person that desighned a box nicked named "the wicked one" , what you have done looks very close to to this design, check it out, con grats is it sounds good, not to mention the time invested, looks good, wis I could hear it.
