I have the opportunity to buy at a very cheap price one of the old (red and black) 200x2 or 250x2 can't remember what it said on it. I would love any specs at all you could give me and if you think it is worth incorporating into my system or not. Thank You

Those amps are awesome, either one the 200x2 or the 250x2 will push lots at 2 ohms no problem! And 4 ohms, but bareley breathing at 4 ohms. Power rating? Well my 200x2 is rated at 390Watts per channel!!! And a 250x2 will put out around 400-450 watts per channel.
I am sure more people will tell you more about these amps. Go to my topic on this forumn "power ratings for my amps"

There is a LARGE difference between those amps. They are both powerful, and high quality, but I have found the Power 250x2 to be extremely stable (1ohm mono). It's one of the best amps Rockford has EVER made, IMO..

I looked at the amp again and it was the 200x2. It has new boards in it from rockford repair. I bought it for $150. Thought it was a mint deal, was I right? Also picked up a 100x2 for $125. I was going to send more and get new amps, but I figure why bother, the old ones were better anyhow. Thanks for all the help.
