ok, since i haven't used this type of math in over 13 years, i need you younger guys and math types to help jump start my brain again.

ok, .019 ohms equals how many milliohms? wouldn't it be 19 milliohms?

Yes, 19 milliohms. If it were .000019 it would be micro-ohms. www.onlineconversion.com is a very good site for those brain fart moments [Wink]

ok, so now to the trick question.

which is the lower impedance?
19 milliohms or 2.5 milliohms?

2.5 is lower than 19.
Just like a 1 ohm load is lower than an 8 ohm load.

mili is 10 to the NEGATIVE 3 or 10 to the power of -3 = 10^-3

move the decimal 3 places to the right OF .019.. u will get 019. which is the same as number 19!

19 is > (greater) than 2.5 by 7.6 whole units...

10 to the power:
mili= -3
micro= -6
nano=-9
pico=-12
