if i use a 6" aeroport (12" long) in a 3 cubic foot box, wouldnt there "in theory" be a limit to how much air could pass through the port before the woofer no longer reacts to it? as if it were not there?
i seen them on ebay and thought about buying some

in theory yes.
But what size sub is going in this box also plays a roll.
but you know that.
also want to add why not use 2 4 inch areo ports?
