Topic: which? ddmids/polk/focal/rainbow???? ~150watts
1. i dont think any of these will fit in my doors so kickpanels it is. 2. which should i get and they have to be 4ohms each.cuz 4ohms each gives me 140watts per channel. 2ohms each gives me 210 per channel.... a bit much
so what should i go for? anything else? i need help for i blew my right boston to oblivion!
what about these? ive heard of them but i would like 150 watts rms so they wont break on me like my bostons did Rainbow ID Chameleons Focal Utopia ADS
and im trying not to spend any more then 250$ but that could change cuz i have 0$ right now so i might be able to get more -------------------- eclipse cd5000 DD 9515 4.25 cu. ft box 83 sq inch port. if u port it, bass will come

Try a DD component set, to match your 9515. Pick up some DDW6.5 mids and then some Vifa XT25 tweets (same as DD CT-28a, but DD quit selling them), then pick up some of DDs passive crossovers for the tweets, and you'll be set. Oh, and don't worry about overpowering them with that, you won't. They'll take amazing amounts of power. I'm currently running an older Rockford Power 500.2 (not the new one, the old one, the big boy, about 350x2), and they suck all of it up. I once had an older RF Punch 225.2 bridged to each side, roughly 600 watts to each side, and they would take quite a bit of it, but not all of it. I've put the set through hell, and it has never failed me.
