I just got done hooking up 6 9012's in my truck today running off of 2 us amp 2000's.And my next project is a secret but im putting 2 big DD's in a caravan.

I'm currently running all DD speakers in my vehicle and don't plan on switching any time soon. I have DDW6.5 mids, CT-28 tweeters, and a 9515 for low end. I've got an older RF Power 500.2 (for those who don't know, its the equivilant of about the new 1000.2, in other words and very powerful two channel) powering the component set, and a PH-D2 on each coil of the 9515. The DDW6.5s are in kicks about .1 cubes sealed each, and the 9515 is in 3.828 cubes tuned to 36 Hz with 36 square inches of port area.

2 3512 D series, in a 3.27 total interal volume ported box with 40 sq in of port area tuned at 45Hz. Powered by a single Concept CC-D2400, highest score last season in Street 1-2 150.5, hopefully tweaking it out more and gaining 1-2db more.

dont the 500.2's put out like 700watts or so..maybe a lil more??and the 1000.2's put out 1300-1500...

He's talking about the ones from 1996-1998 before they changed the rating.Those components must be awesome because that is a powerful amp.

tell me about it my setup will almost be identical once i get the money...
i have the old rockford 500.2 thats gonna power the 400$ component set from DD and ill have 1 DD9515 in 7.89 cubes 80-85 sq inches of port tuned to 34hz powered by an mtx81000d per coil!
that should sound "alright"

1 9012 and a RF 55.2 in a 3.5 cube with 45sq tuned to 32hz its kinda loud for only having 240 watts on it. 1 9012 sitting in my apt. 1 3515 that isn't mine sitting in my apt. i would love to get the 5.25 dd comps.
