So they are 90% efficient, that doesn't mean much to me, cuz I don't know what it means !

If you are running a sub at 800wRMS with an analog amp, and switch out to a digital amp, will there be significant SPL gains?

same power ratings? I think not, the 90% efficient means that they take less power to do the same out put. So if you have a amp like mine..(240 onboard fuse, takes voltage down to 9 volts while car is running) and replace it with a class D Amp then you might notice a diff. because when the voltage drops the out put drops with it. So if you have a amp that out puts 3600 RMS (like mine) that is a class D it might only have 60 amp fuse (on-board) the current draw will be less and the voltage drop will me less keeping its nice voltage and better Out put rating.
