Iggy, as a rule, panasonic remotes suck. The pause button is usually not marked as such. I can't remember what it was on my old panasonic, but there is always the old stand-by of hitting buttons until you figure it out. Sometimes remotes from other decks work, but panasonic has different remotes for most of their decks. Might also want to check into an IR Repeater because their remotes tend to not work outside the car very well.

i have a panasonic 800u. i lost that damn little remote the third day i had it. i swear at most it was 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. let me know what they say cuz i'd like to get a new one also, even though i've played the hu for over a year now without one. i'd definately want one if they have anything bigger. but i'm not paying 10 bucks for that dinky thing it came with.
