If your getting the stuff at Home Depot then You are looking at Ice Guard. It will be in roofing and its about 36" tall and you can get them in different lengths.

hope this helps

Yes it is. Just go to the roofing area of Home Depot and ask for Ice Guard or Seal and Peal. If they don't have either of those, look for a product with aluminum on one side and tar on the other in a roll.

I just do some "web stuff."

no the Ice guard is a thick rubber that you put on under the roofing asphalt. the Ice guard is put on 36" on all edges it makes it so that Ice build up on the roof, so that if it does get under the shingles it will melt on the ice guard and role off the house with out giving leaks. Roof asphalt if what goes on between the wood and the shingle, it is a simple paper with an asphalt/Tar line every 8" I makes it so the shingles stick to the roof when the wind blows. You want what is called Ice Guard there are some other names for it but its sticky on one side and is all rubber.

aaaahhhhhhhh yes pell and seal.....in these parts its known as (((GLENN-O-MAT))) [Razz]
get the kind with aluminum on one side and it works really good,it also keeps the temp down in your car also.i never could get it in big amounts at home depo had to hit up a roofing supply house and they have it in 1 footX33 feet-3feetX33feetand 6feetX33feet
i always get the 3feet X 33feet for $75 its just right for doing doors in 1 peice [Big Grin]
you can also get the local guys to buy it for for you because they are used to paying the price for dynomat,i charged a guy $150 to do his trunk i used half a roll and double layered his trunk,he was very happy and so was i [Cool]
