I'd have to see and hear to belive this one! 21" thats not even allowed in Db Drag right? If the claims are real, this sub would be pretty cool, imagine 4 in a wall.......it would look like one big speaker moving. I bet it would play pretty deep too.

I don’t know how they would do that in dB drag because there are also voice coil restrictions in the street and super street. there could be a lot of talk over it. since there are 4 subs (4 mag, 4 main coils, 4 spiders, 1 cone) you could make a bigger one if you wanted to. Just get some of the Square subs and put them right next to each other on a wall. then seal the crud out of it, put about a 3 inch lift and then mount a custom passive radiator. that is almost what it sounds they did. Like you I would want to see one to believe.
Thus another reason why Square was made...put more closer in less room.

That sub is a POS. It has 10,000,000 things wrong with it and will probably never ever even work right and the company will give up on it. Its nice to be different, but its far worse to be stupid.

actually...
"We have also developed a quad coil for the quad woofer. Giving the woofer 16 coils to connect amplifiers too"
still seems farfetched but eh...everyone's gotta try sumpin' sometime...

It's cool to be different, but one thing dissapoints me. The 1" XMax!!!!! What the crap man, with 20,000 watts, that thing better crank, I mean like 5 inches. If an RFL can travel 4.35" in a 15" shell- if my 10" Comp can hit almost 1.5" (it did it today, it was awesome!) then that thing should JAM!!!
Also, I saw the page where ED is making that 18" 20,000 watt sub. I can't wait till the SoloX walks all over this quadra-sub.

"your amplifier is clipping and you are now sending some DC current to your speaker/s and this is like hooking them up to a wall outlet. What happens is the circuits over load and every volt of energy in that power supply of the amp goes straight into your speaker and it WILL heat and blow up. Even if you have a 1000 continuous watt rated speaker on a 10 watt amp. It WILL blow the speaker in no time flat. Clipping sounds like distortion so it is very easy to detect."

They will get none of my money, due to spewing crap like this.

All you are doing with that Quadra-Sub is wasting power... it has 7.5" spiders on each motor assembly, can't get too much x-max from that.
SPL is a function of displacement, so what if you can dump 20kw onto the sub... if it's not displacing the air it's not making the SPL. And yes displacement is still important in a ported enclosure at tuning... they dump enough power on them to hit full x-max even at tuning in the extreme SPL cars. You could be louder with 4x Kicker L7 10" woofers -- they'll have more x-max and about the same cone area, and I can about guarantee they'll do full x-max with less power.
