Depends on type/size of enclosure, power, and the vehicle it is in. Hard to say without any info.

Sorry I hate it when peeps dont give enough info as well - ok for the most novice comp that a person can enter a 2 ohm 15inch sub no wall powered by one amp. Does that help or what else do you need?

What kind of amps/watts and sub are we talking about? I am thinking probably in the 140's or so for a novice comp.
