ok if you put i ported box with 2 10s in you trunk and then you have say a 40/60 rear seat and you fold down just the 40 part.is that not like having a box in a box like the seat is another port hole and the trunk itself is the bigger box? or do i need to get more sleep

Yes it would. But you need to do something to make the waves reflect in such a way that they are all routed to the second port. You also would want to make the "second" box the right size I have No idea how you would come up with that besides trial and error. Its like with home audio when positioning a sub. if you move it around put it in a corner it will give different levels of bass. (leave it behind the couch = lower level then putting it in a corner) So I think It would work as long as you do it right. I would take your box flip it and then fiberglass the second box in around that. it looks like you have NO room. I only got 4 hours of sleep also last night so I might need some sleep.
