I'm thinkin about gettin some of this stuff. They have a guy who's shop is closing here. He's sellin the 12 sq ft rolls of gatorskin for 30 bucks. There's ssome aother stuff but I wanted you guys opinion first. If not this I'll get some peel and seal. So be opinionated .

i never used the gatorskin.. but i have used the VB1 paste ( comes in the 1 and 5 gallon buckets)..
I LOVE that stuff !! it's basically a ceramic concrete.. lightweight, and it is RIGID ! i had 2 gallons in my roof, and it not only stopped the flex, but also stopped the outside noise !
btw.. this was in a 90 civic hatch.
good stuff.. as for that price, you may wanna check sounddomain.com to see if they have a comparable price.. i think that is the cheapest i've seen it..

i love the vb1x great stuff. all u have to do is brush it on and it dries fast with very little oder after it dries. watch out when it wet where a resperator because the alochol smell will water ur eyes and burn ur nose. damn 2 gallons on ur roof u must have put 30 coats on. small cars 1 gallon will do everything on average...SPLaudio
