Pics right there guys. Looks really well built to me... have it running @ 4 ohms on my 15" Brahma and it sounds wonderful. No reason to run it @ 1 ohm... but I will one of these days whenever I change my sub setup. At 4 ohms it definatly meets the 1400-watt RMS rating they give it (as far as my ears can tell anyway), pushes the Brahma even harder than my old Visonik V800XD (1000-watts RMS).

Everything about the amp is high quality... I expected the corner pieces to be plastic, but they are solid metal. The internal fans are silent, I can't even hear them with no music on. It came with all of the allen wrenches you need for all the screws on the amp. Everything was very well put together, I can't complain about anything on the amp.

I REALLY like the adjustment knobs, they are the kind that have incremental clicks. I like that kind of knob, kind of a personal preference thing there.

One question though... does anyone know if the remote knob is a remote gain or a remote bass boost?

It's 33.5" long... about a foot wide (didn't measure that)... and not much taller than a normal amp not counting the handles. HUGE...

http://www.thezeb.com -- $500 for this amp!

Those XD amps are great amps!

PS: I drive a Firebird and mounted it, no excuses, hehe.

Yea those MA Audio High Current Amps Are HUGE!! I got one of the 2003 HK-602SX and I dot know where to put it. Its not as long as the 33" but it is 23" long 12.4" wide and a towering 2.7" tall. =-) But they Kick some butt. Hope it works well for yea.. another reason why they where so big ( 2001 and 2002 amps ) is because they are ment to be flush mounted so the top goes about 1.5 inces around the side.

it depends on the amp the class D they do and a few other lines the class T they also have at 17 volt ratings. but there high current and AB amps are rated for 14 volts. So far I am Happy with my 2003 amp. I would not trade a MA audio Amp for any thing. I fist got one of HC-2502 amps (2001) the SQ and the power I was geting out of it was mad chedder. Then it dies..Apraently parts where missing?? so after a week of having it sent it back beging of this febuary to Electronic giant to have them replace it. But Since parts where missing...(i think they where just giving me BS) and MA Audio was wating 2+ months on parts? right.. So I went and got the 2003 amp just wed of this week. And love it. and before the HC-2502 I had a MA Audio Mono block 1000 watt amp for 1.5 years. HAd it at 1 ohms when it was only rated for 2 and never had a prblem. If you want somewthing that Has SPL when you need it but want unheard off SQL for your driving then I would pick up one of the HC amps. =-)

Ah... I was hoping it was a remote gain knob and not a remote bass knob. In that case I won't bother to install it.

I've had more listening time with the amp and I like it more all the time... it just seems to effortlessly power the sub. I'm more into SQ so I don't generally play that loud, it sounds great at sane listening levels too for those wondering.

I think it is a gain. I got a gain remote with my amp. I dont think that they would go from boost to gain.. that would be poopie. and Last years Visionink amps where Gain also. So I think it might be gain. Find out!! just hook it up in the trunk and see what happens.
