I just ordered a Blue Optima Top D900M for my whole car and my system from optimabatterystore.com.

Optimabatterystore.com, recommend for me to use that battery. So i went his choice.

I been searching on the forums now...
I see some info on them and other optimas...

blue optima is only for marine
red is good for a starting battery
yellow is good for when you car is off while your playing your system
people are using blue optimas for there car also
blue and yellow optima are the same but the blue has extra terminals
red is way to go
my friend or i heard, some optimas blew out
i use a optima, and it went dead after 6 months...

Making me all nervous hearing these info....My mom has a yellow optima top in her Chev. Silverado 2000, so i figured must be a good battery.....

Should i worry about it using a blue optima top in my car, should i be safe with my blue optima?

depends on your current draw
but atleast with the deep cycle you don't have to worry about killing the battery by draining it to nothing
