I have a suzuki swift W/ a Bazooka passive tube: El 10" and a 120 rms watt amp... It sound good and it beem gived to me free I have 2 questions... 1. The tube facing on the right side of my trunk (I have the hatchback model) and my side panel are doing alot and alot of rattles!!! Also my trunk door do alot of rattle, and my whiper is claping on the window... I want to know if it's a low cost... and not that much complicated way to remove a bit of rattle... I'm thinking of dynamat but is that stuff really effective or it change about nothing? In the case of my trunk door it's the whole door that rattle and i can't know from where the sound come exactly...
2. The bazooka I have is saying 104db/1w/1m and i have a 120 watt amp... so 104 + 10 x log 120 = 124,8 db...
if i take an example of 2 rocksford 12" 200 watt each...
87.6 + 3 + 10 x log 400 = 117...
so im technicaly more loud than a pair of rockford fosgate 12" 87,6 db at 200 watt each... Is it possible??? Im my caculation I didn't cout the fact of distance, and the fact of trunk resonance etc etc.. but I added 3 db for dual sub...

No that log thing is wrong...I know my 6.5"s are louder than that and I know 2 RF 12"s would be way louder. Too many variables to guess your SPL...

yes sure... because it would be illogical... But do you think dynamat can stop rattle in my trunk, and stop my whiper claping?

It will help with the rattle in the trunk but not a whole lot with the wiper clapping unless you put it everywhere in your car.

i will buy a small set to put on the side of my sub where it's trowing sound + in the trunk... I hope it will help a bit... Also the swift is not the super insonorisated car and it sound as loud outside from the car than inside... For the wiper i will a a tensioner... it will be good... Even if it's a small system it sound very good! im surprised...

Just fill up the panels with expanding foam.

The inaccuracy with the log function-here's why. The bazooka tube's sensitivity rating of 104db/m is with the sub mounted in the tube. The Fosgates, are just the driver sitting in free-air, meaning mega-cancellation. Put the fosgates in a box, and the sensitivity rating will rise, thus giving you a more accurate reading.

for your rattles you might want to use something such as edead as opposed to dynamat... cheaper and as good if not better www.edesignaudio.com
or if you have lowe's hardware stores where you live, you can get a roofing material called peel and seal.. do a search on termpro for "sound deadening" you should be able to find a tutorial somewhere on how to apply it
