I need to get a new battery for my Car but i dont know what kind to get. I was looking at optima but they dont put out enough CCA. I was looking at something that would put out close to or over 1000 CCA. But I dont know any place or a battery that does that. Thanks for any help.

CCA is not the total determining factor on how "good" a battery is. You can usually find a battery close to 1000 CCA at several auto parts retailers.
If this is for stereo purposes, you need to look at other factors such as reserve time, internal resistance, etc. There is a lot more than just the rating. Just like a 1000 watt amp from Pyramid and a 1000 watt amp from Rockford are not the same.

Right I know that, I am just looking for a nice Good Batt that can deliver some serious power to my 3600 RMS MA Audio amp and not dim (that bad) the rest of my lights. I have the stock Batt in my focus and that’s like 450 or 550 CCA. I heard that Exide has a gel that’s good; I am trying to find the Car Quest Batt, or get an Optima Red top. But I don’t know where to get the Car Quest Batt because I cant find it any where on the internet, and I just heard about the Exide batt just last night and cant find the battery that he was talking about. I know if I just go out and Get a HUGE deep cycle battery that is used for RV's it won’t be as good as an optima. All I am asking is if there are batteries out there that can put more CCA then the Optima and have an improved or equal performance as the optima. In short what is a better Batt then the Optima Batteries?
