A friend of mine has a Visonik V900HC... MA and Visonik are from the same parent company, MA is actually a higher line. The V900HC my friend has is quite clean, very reliable, and very powerful (20 PS MOSFETS, 64 Output Transistors, nicely wound transformers). The amp is rated at 14.4 volts.

When I get my MA amp on Thursday I'll post internal pictures of it as well... I expect it to be very similar but a little beefier.

well my old system stays with that car. i put to much time and custom work to take it out. plus selling it with that equipment will make it alot easier!
but again the question is how much power can the XXX take rms? and what kinda ohm loads can i get? do they make them custom for you with the diferent ohm loads?

ok thanks. i looked but couldnt find any specs on thier. guess i can just buy another A7. i like how small the amp is and crossovers. also sounds great even at 4ohms. ill just have to see what kinda voice coil setup i can get. but im not realy in a hurry. the old car hasnt got put into the paper yet. should come out this friday tho. and then we will see how quick it goes. i wanted to pay my dad for the car right now but he doesnt have his 00"suburban plates re-newed yet. but i did look at it somemore and drive it again. only thing that will take alittle while to get used to is the tight steering and actualy having good brakes...LOL my towncar is making grinding noises now...... OUCH..... but i dont feel like spending that much money for a car im already loosen cash on. expetialy since im selling the car for only 2K with EVERYTHING IN IT.... hell ive put about 2600 in just equipment. not including all the custom instalation i built for the trunk.

Like I said; the amp is very solid and puts out tons of power. The owner of that amp put up a 151.4dB score at his first ever SPL competition with that amp and 4x Stereo Integrity Magnum D2 woofers in the SLAP Stock Class. He has a pluggable port box... when the woofers are sealed up the amp certainly doesn't have any problems producing clean output and makes the woofers sound great. If you notice the amp also has two cooling fans -- it rarely gets all that warm and I've never seen it get hot to the touch like the amps currently in my car do (SS Rubicon 702 and USX 2150).

I ordered the large MA Audio 4,000-watt amp since it should be quite similar to Visonik -- as most of their amp products are quite similar with the MA products usually having a few more features. I didn't think much of MA or Visonik until I got that V800XD amp (I have since sold it -- still works great for the new owner) and then after seeing my friends V900HC I think their amps are some of the best for the dollar.

PS: The MA 4kw amp is about 4 inches longer than that amp... so it should be a monster too. I'll post pics once I get mine.

well then here is another question. what about how many amps it draws MAX? im not gonna be upgrading the factory alternator just yet. but i do have a secondary yellow top optima to use.
and realy dont want a huge draw.... looking for a amp around 1,000-1,500watts rms. i think that amp is too much power and definatly dont like the size of it. only way ill get a amp that long if its a US amps which is realy nice power and built tuff

That MA Amp will draw MAJOR current at full tilt... but if you are only asking for 1,500-watts RMS it won't be too bad.

If thats all the power you need look for the Visonik or MA Audio 1500-watt RMS Class-X amps. They are extremely solid and have been doing quite well in SPL competitions. They are also VERY efficient, a little more efficient than your average Class-D. I owned a 1000-watt Class-X from Visonik for over a year; I sold it to my friend and it's still going strong.
