strokers sound better personally. heard a strocker 12 in a demo car. very very nice sounding woofer.

depends on what model of dd ur referring to. im assuming ur comparing against the 9515. in that case, strokers have a tad more sq..but obviously the 9515 can haul more spl and walk over the strokes.

walk over the strokers in spl? A roadgear can walk over a dd if the dd was not in a box. Its all application, dd and strokers both can sound great, and still be loud along with treo, RE, and etc.

ok, i'll just revise my statement. it really all depends on the installation, but from observation of many tests between a stroker and a dd 9515, stroker edges a little more on sq and dd 9515 gets a little more spl. just my observations.

Yeah, and he definetily preferers the strokers for Listening, even he's using Atomics for SPL now..
I personal think, strokers are sounding very different from DDs.
DDs are sound hard and dry, like "pockpock", while the Strokers are more sound "poffpoff".
And the strokers are one of the fastest woofers ever build - the 15" for example ist faster than 80% of the 10" woofers from other brands.
