does anyone know why exactly reflective bass tends to be louder? i mean like when u face subs towards the rear in the back of the trunk, why its louder in most applications? also, if i was to face my subs directly into the cabin with the seats folded down, port the boxes through the rear deck, then completely sound proof and seal off the trunk, do u think it would be around the same as with the subs and ports facing rear in the back of the trunk?

It actaully depends on the car itself. You can even have the exact same system ans same model/year car and have different results.
