Heres whats happened. I decided it would be a nice project to put a full system in a 2002 Tahoe. It has the factory sub and what noy so I figured I could leave it there and start from scratch. idbl_fanatic(Rick) built me a nice box while I was doing all the wiring. I went ahead and put the 600.4 under the rear seat and sent the stock speaker wires from the wiring harness to the amp. I did a volt test no signal. So I figured maybe they are running through a amp also so I turned on the new Alpine. WOW we have POP. So I thought why not just let it go through the factory amp I will just keep the gains down for distortion. I wired it all up and no sound. I tested each ch. on the amp with another loose speaker and they are all putting out sound.
Heres the kicker must I bypass the factory amp. If yes does anyone make a harness for this. Also if I must go through this pain does anyone have a wiring scamatic for the amp. Sorry for all the ques but I am stuck here.
On a good note the Shocker II 15's and Audiobahn 2300HCQ work and the damn thing is loud. Rick you the man.

You guys are killing me. Help out here. Whats going on Tim. OnebumpinJeep. Nope not me. The guys name is Tay. I think he has a couple bolton's but nothing major. I also here he puts it down on a regular basis. Looks good for me. Anyways no onestar just the Bose system. Please help.
Honestly, your best bet is to just run new lines to the door speakers and call it a day. It's REALLY not as bad as it sounds, plus, if anything happens, troubleshooting will be a breeze.
Since you'll be running a good mid amp, take advantage of the power and run the new wires.
Sorry to discourage, but, do it right and do it once...

Yeah I think that you should just run the new wires to the doors and leave it at that, or just cut the input, and output, and connect them together............... Glad to hear that it is bumpin'

On the Bose system it is really easy to do. First drop the glove box and the amp is right behind there. Their is one plug with your input and also you output wires. You can find your stock GM wire colors right here to tap into and it will make your life a lot easier.

I thought the amp sat right on top of the factory sub box??

Chad you are absolutely right. I found the amp behind the glove box. Rick and I thought it was behind the rear panal so I ripped it out. No luck so I checked the other side, nothing. I had half this truck apart before I found it behind the glove. CHAD Please help me, the amp is out and both the plugs are exposed. Where can I find the color codes. I/m not running new wires for a couple reasons. One they are stock speakers and no reason to and second its not my truck. My buddy has no plans to replace the speakers so I don't want to make more work then needed. If I can find the inputs for the speakers I can just tap the wires.
