What are your opinions on this amp? What kind of power does it make? Current draw? Fuse requirement?

How is it for 1ohm daily use?

One of the best amps ever made. Has more than enough clean power to blow the cone of your Inhuman right out of the basket. This amp is severely underrated and will do 4000+ watts rms @ .25 ohm mono, modded (not recommended for daily) will push in excess of 6000 watts rms. This amp needs lots of reserve power (4 1000 cca batts are recommended). I'd look into a class D amp for your application unless you have more than one Inhuman you would be running with it.

I had one in my truck for quite awhile and really liked it. I had it running at 1 ohm mono, and it barely got warm. I only had 2 Stinger 1000 batteries and a 200 amp alt with NO voltage probs. I never measureed the outputs, but, it moved a pair of Shocker extreme's really well.

Good amp. if the price is right, pick it up.

I've owned as many as four of these amps at one time - and was very impressed with each one.

I've taken them down to .25 ohm, burped them for up to a minute at a time (at full volume on a stock alternator), driven 4 hours in 90 degree heat with the bass cranked the whole time, and subjected them to various other "tests".

All-in-all, they are very well built amps with great SQ and awesome power. Only downside is that they are quite large, fairly inefficient, and a PITA to wire up.

I've sold all my VLX-400's on ebay from anywhere between $800-$1000 each (they were in immaculate condition). So expect to pay somewhere in that neighborhood for one unless you find a sweet deal or a damaged one.
