Such negativity. One guy here put a shaker 15 (2000w, lol) in a really funky compression horn/tranmission line box running of an RF bd1000.1 last year as a joke. He managed to hit consistent 145s with it, and took second in his class.
Just food for thought.

Dew2000, try one of those snail-shell designs Tucked65 keeps endorsing. There's a plan for a 12 somewhere on here. Look in 'Subs and Enclosures' and click on 'boxes I believe'. Or, try what I've got right now. Put it in the biggest freakin bucket you can find, and fiberglass it.

Ok, lets see how long the pyramids will last compared to the DD's. They might sound "ok" but they will never last as long and sound as good in the long run either, i'm not bashing them, well ok, just a little. I owned a pair a looong time ago and would probably never spend money on any cheap product when I can have something that will please me for as long as I own them unless I just want to be louder and that will happen. Good luck on what you do though!
